"Wet Ones Sticky Situations Facebook contest giveaway"

How many sticky situations have you found your kids in? With my 2 boys, well mostly Baby B, I have had my fair share of them that’s for sure. Little B isn’t so much on getting dirty. He was the little kid that liked playing in the sandbox from the outside of the box. Baby B on the other hand is loves getting dirty. His most recent fun involved some Nickelodeon Gak. I used to make him stay where I could see him playing with stuff like Play Doh, Floam and Gak. He had never made a mess so one time I said it was ok for him to play with the Gak in his room. He was quiet for a little bit. Then I see him rush from his room to the bathroom. I figured he was just going to use the bathroom. Then I hear,”Umm Mommy can you come here for a minute.” I thought he may have not made it to the potty in time but no. This is what I walk in on in the bathroom…

"how to get Gak out of hair"

That would be a head of hair that is full of sticky, gooey Gak. Thank goodness for Wet Ones, vinegar and dish soap. I used Wet Ones to clean his hands and neck up. I thought I could pick the Gak out. That’s not such a good idea. It stuck really good to his fine hair and as I tried just pulling the Gak off his head I was pulling his hair. I thought I was going to have to take him to cut all his hair off 🙁 Then I got to thinking that maybe my dish soap may work. It got the Gak slippery to wear I could get some of it out but most of it was still there. Then I pulled out the vinegar. I use it for cleaning so it should work on Gak right? Right! A little vinegar hair wash and the Gak dissolved right out of his hair. So if your little one tries to make a hat and neck tie out of Gak go for the hair wash of dish soap and vinegar or just the vinegar probably would work. I gave him a shampoo wash to get rid of the slight vinegar smell and he was good to go.
